First, yes new skin. A bit of surprise for everyone since it's only been a month since our blue one but Abe is finicky and I wanted to give my players the best. The skin is not 100% done, if you've noticed there are no matching buttons and smilies but I will get on those. They don't take much time to make, but can be a little tedious. And yes, Unaffiliated got another color change to better fit with the skin colors. You're back to your blue now.
Our activity check was completed, we've lost some dearly loved players. We wish them lots of love and luck in their lives. However, we have lost some vital canon characters and we are in great need of them. If you know of someone who'd like to play Hellboy and/or Kate, send them this way. If you're interested in picking up one of these canon, please do! We love our little RPG and all of our members.
The background was recently (within the last couple of weeks) rewritten and though it doesn't deviate much from the original, it wouldn't hurt to read through it again. Another change is the rules, they got a bit of a makeover and a little cleaning up. Nothing new, though we removed character guidelines from the rules and gave it it's own thread in the Registration board. It was being skipped over and causing a bit of problem. But now, new thread unto itself and an easier read. FAQ was moved from the Help Center into Informative Info (Formally named Information) too. The Bureau thread in Informative Info will be getting a little makeover and cleanup this week in what we hope will be a better organized thread of info.
I've also gotten rid of game info in the sidebar, it wasn't really being utilized but kept the game date and moved it into Updates which has now taken over the game info's former place. Confusing? If you think the game info sidebar was important, drop me a PM or reply here with your thoughts on it.
Game wise, don't be afraid to seek out a writing partner. That's what the Planning Stage thread is for. If you feel like you're writing by yourself or want some more interaction going on in your thread, ask away. I will do my best to make sure you've got something to do but if you write your character in the middle of nowhere with no other characters nearby, well you can see where I'm going with that. Also watch the dates, if you post in the second week when everyone's in the first, good chances are you will not get a reply. The time stamp and game time line are there to help move things forward.
Now that I used my parent voice, I just want to reiterate just how awesome you guys are. You've kept this game going and we just keep chugging along. More then half the games today do not make it past the one year mark and we have accomplished that and more. I promised myself no tears, so, who wants a fishman hug? Anyone? ...Anyone?
