As long as everyone is doing introductions, I figured I'd throw my silliness out there.

Name: Olive (that's what I go by, it comes from my deviantArt account name)
Likes: superheroes, manga, comics, anime, creative writing, and grapefruit candy....oh, and the mighty coconut.
Dislikes: the smell of garbage on a hot summer day. Pretty much all bad smells. Forum Drama
Info Blurb: I have about five years rping experience, and I pride myself in my abilities as a writer (though I am dyslexic, heheh). For the first two years, I was doing chat-based role play with very poorly developed, stock characters, but hey we all have to start somewhere. I took a small break from role play when I started college, and eventually turned to Forum-based role play. I was really into Sci-Fi themes, and I found a site that was really detailed, but also a ghost town. Heart-broken, I googled "vampire role play" (since I knew it to be a popular genre) and joined the first detailed site that popped up. I played with that game for about three years, and left after the drama got to be too much. I've been off RP for about two months. Why do I RP? because I like to keep my creative juices flowing, and I love to write (I'm a Lit Major, teehee).

Whoo! Comic and superhero fan. Love X-Men, Batman and of course Hellboy. Though I've only collected a few issues of the X23 origins and several Hellboy ones, though I'm searching for the BPRD series. I could order them online but that takes all the fun out of hunting for them. Oh and Odd Jobs 2, I have 1 and 3 but 2 is being deceptively hard to track.

So glad you've joined our little oddball family and extremely excited for possibly Nu Nu goodness. Abe has been pinning for his beloved for a while.

And since we're all tossing out our future jobs... I'm thinking of becoming a professional hermit that lives deep in the mountains with 37 cats. All named Thomas.

I was just reading Manga in high school, but I started reading other comics. I read Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee in middle school (thanks to a dear friend). But I'm now getting into more American/British stuff. I have Fables 1...and as soon as 2 and 3 get into the local book store I'll get them. I've been chomping at the bit to start the Hellboy comics, but they're all SO expensive. If I get the big anthologies, they cost $50...I wish they came in a cheaper paper back *sad face*

I geek out every time a super hero movie is announced, Hulk with Edward Norton is love! and Ironman...I would hug Robert Downey Jr....I really would...in the Ironman suit too...and Thor... Kenneth Branagh is directing it, and I love his Shakespeare movies so...I'm psyched for that. I'm iffy on spiderman right now, but I want them to put Black Cat in...Felicia + Peter for the win! no more silly MJ! and can we get some Carnage action pu-lease? we had Venom there...we need Carnage now! Oh and I can't wait for the next Batman movie!!! I think we need a Robin and a Harley Quinn. (I'm actually working on a Spoiler costume...I need to make a cape!) I also heard about the Justice League movie their working on...but I'm not so sure... how about a wonder woman movie?

I like the Wonder Woman + Batman pair...it makes me happy!
