This year/stormy season seems to be blasting my town pretty hard. Normally, power goes out once or twice a year with storms (More so during the summer and we get rolling blackouts) but every week, there's been a storm that knocks out either the whole town, like last week or just areas, the week before. A main transformer was blown down at the river and though they got it fixed, it was a pretty spotty for the last couple of days, which is turn pisses off comcast and that it turn makes me a very grumpy fish man. Honestly, they just need to fix this entire place up and quit spot patching the roads. IT DOES NOT WORK!
News say another storm is heading in on Tuesday and Wednesday and at this time, I don't know the severity of it. I'll watch the local news tonight and keep you guys up to date. And yes, Nuala is right. I need a generator. Or rather I need a new one.
I was also called away this weekend to a 48 hour shift for a new client, while I was still on my first shift at a different client. Work is... wonderful in dumping shifts on me last second and screwing with my schedule. I am home (Got home this morning, changed, showered, did a few things here and ran off to my other job) but suffering from a terrible headache as I did not sleep. My new client has dementia, the scientific names escapes me at the moment, but I could not leave her alone for more than five minutes or else she was out the door. It was just a one time job, so I will hopefully be here on the weekends, but that's why I wasn't here harassing you all and while my posts are not complete.
I will be working on things all day, posts, bios, all that jazz but if I vanish during the storm, I will do my best to get back here.
