Well considering it's the robbing of a phylactery, Deadhead would be knowledgeable in that department and would likely appear with the Bureau.
edit: oops, this whole, two profiles thing is going to take some getting used to

If Ludmila gets approved I might try to have her join this bank robbery business...although what the flying f*** an FSB agent would be doing there is hard to explain.

Is Deadhead going to be infiltrating the criminal group with Tabby? Or is he operating outside that with BPRD trying to stop the robbery? (Or whatever the BPRD are trying to do.)
And Ludmila, it would depend entirely on what kind of role you would want her to fill in the group. If you wanted her for second team lead you'd have to discuss that with Clarisse, but she can do as extra muscle I suppose. Don't want the team to be too overloaded, so it's for sure capped at a 8 man crew!
For the rest of you! We need to start working out how Arkins is recruiting you! It could be as easy as a conversation, or as difficult as Arkins' trip down south to pick up Clarisse. I'll throw out some ideas for you to consider, but I'd love to get this stuff in the game proper!
Sam - Not sure how he could run into him unless Arkins has to physically track him down (which could lead to hilarious violence. Another idea I had would be for Sam to be in a sort of supernatural fight club and Arkins enters it so he could earn the wolf's respect and talk him into joining the crew.
Tabby - Not sure how we're playing this out! Is she undercover or what? It's up to you kid. This could be a conversation or something a little less legal if the BPRD wants her to make a good impression. Maybe he has to run interference for her on one of her "jobs?" Maybe it could be even deeper than that and have the BPRD essentially hiring Arkins to protect Tabby on a legit mission without him realizing it!
These are just ideas mind you, the recruitment stuff really comes down to the recruited characters themselves! Get back to me!

Because I forgot this in my last post, the other magical items that Alex wants to "procure" because the harpy took his phylactery, can be some incentive to Anton's crew. I didn't list specifics as ya'll are free to make them up as you go along.

Well I suppose Deadhead's actions depend on Tabby's position here. If she's under cover then he will be too. If she's something otherwise, he'd likely just be there to foil them.
Though i can totally see the BPRD foiling to robbery and confiscating all the items in the vault.

Ludmila would be there for the same reasons as the BPRD...the FSB would probably just love to get their hands on the artefact, but they'd have fewer qualms about their agent shooting people who get in the way.

Well Deadhead, if you want to be Undercover we can go with that. TBH it's going to be a mess with the two "techs" being against the crew - but I guess we'll see how they do with all the heavy violence prone people around them demanding their share! And getting Ludmila in...it would be funny, but man I think the job would just implode and some people would end up dead. And by people I mean PCs

Mmmm well i imagine that once the vault is open, swarms of agents would file in from the BPRD so as not to leave two of its physically weaker members high and dry

Ok, Lucy will be all over this like a fat kid on potato chips.
However, it becomes a question of how. Does Arkins enlist or the backer? Is she called in at the last moment when the door won't open or there from the get-go?
Really, however you want to employ her, I'm up for. Except, someone will have to ask her to join, she's not the type to join this type of shin-dig, she'll need to be connived convinced to take part.
but honestly, it won't take a lot of convincing.... she'll probably put up a lot of huff and feet-dragging, before agreeing rather abruptly.

Well she will be getting paid a lot. though i was just struck with an idea.
Since the bprd wants into teh vault too, she could get brought in by them with a substantially high price (and perhaps a few bags of coffee). She could open the vault and maybe set up an easy way in and out for weaker members (coughmecough), and of course, not being too keen on making enemies she could end her participation with the bureau there.
Also, they could let her "collect" what she wants from teh vault as payment, seeing as most of what they may have records of her collecting seems to disappear from the world forever.
just spewin' ideas though. She's just so perfect for this plot
And here's just another idea: What if she gets there first?

Arkins is the guy enlisting, the backer is just an NPC. She would be there from the get go to get them through the individual magical sealed passages and otherwise inoperable doors. Doors made to keep on even Lucy (so she couldn't just waltz into the chamber and take what she wanted - she'll need to be there, physically busting the doors open. Dependent on how I flesh out the plan (plus input), she'll be a part of the primary team consisting of herself and Arkins. The secondary team will probably contain Clarisse, Sam, and Tabby. The Wheelman will be placed last - dependent on mode of transport. It's assumed that this whole process will be taxing on Lucy, meaning she wouldn't be able to just port out of there (fudging characters a little to fit the motif as it were). How the enlisting goes is up to you, how Arkins tracks her down could be any number of interesting ways - from legit hunting, to that special way she receives messages. It could be a conversation or a mission that she requires some help first. Arkins has a unique skill set including - thieving, lockpicking, murder, spec-ops assassinry and general hi-jinks. His profile is here: bprdhb.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=approvedunaffiliated&action=display&thread=1439Note that by the end of the recruitment it would be a good idea if they were on somewhat amicable terms. Especially if you feel it would be rad to be a permanent fixture in the Alternate/Evil!?BPRD.

Ok, so what I'm understanding, is that there are multiple doors and they're enchanted and/or magicked to stay locked. That makes more sense then what I was imagining. She'll probably be opening them the same way she does other doors, it'll just take more 'convincing' and magical input on her part, hence the fatigue.
As for her recruitment, I think both some legit huntin' (and wrasslin') on Arkins part would HI-larious. Perhaps he's caught wind of what she's capable of, thinks she's good for the job, and then goes around 'sniffing' her out, and thus finds out about her door knock call, and calls her on over.....and then sees she's a 5'3 powderpuff. Then all sorts of hilarious hi-jinks could ensue after their encounter, ending with her joining up on the bank mission.
Also....alternate/evil?BPRD??? say whaaaaa?

All righty... well, in case anyone missed it. Hazel/Clarrise's player left the game and thus has left a vacant spot in this plot line. I know this is Arkins thing, but if no one wants to fill in the second in command spot, I don't mind switching my wheelman spot.
