Basic Information
Full Name: Lord Solaufein De'Vir, Prince of the Southern Kingdom, - or Sol for short.
Age: 22
Gender:Male
Birthday: A day in Decemeber
Codename: White
Classification: Dark Elf - Drow
Abilities: Aptitude for Dark Magics - he's reading as many books as he can on the subject - Enchanced Strength, Speed, and Toughness due to heritage - which combined with his currently weak frame - evens him out to slightly above human ability.
Alignment/Occupation: B.P.R.D. Agent
Special Skills: Sol picks up knowledge quickly, and is often found reading, he has a penchant for languages as well. He finds remote enjoyment from art, and when not reading, can be found sketching the facility or people around him - something he is quite good at. He's not bad at a variety of musical instruments - but he wouldn't know for sure, as his knowledge of them is gleaned only from books.
Weapons: Sol hasn't ever touched one before. So they likely give him a standard gun if he ever went out into the field.
The Look
Appearance: Tall, perhaps 6'2", with a face that would be handsome were it ever to be seen and if it were not malnourished and gaunt. His skin is a dark shade of gray to black - what little of his skin there is to see at least. He has short, white, poorly kept hair, which is left messy. Pointed ears, sharp canines, and bright orange eyes. He has a thin, skeletal frame though his black cloak hides this for the most part. His imprisonment has left both lasting psychological, and physical scars - the later of which are most prominent across his left eye and his throat. These wounds have had lasting effects - rendering Sol's left eye useless, and his voice-box damaged.
Celebrity: Christian Bale - in The Machinist
Style: Something damaged Sol badly in his life, and he is now never seen without full bandaging covering his thin skeletal frame. Bits of his skin show - his fingers, and his right eye. Over his white bandaged frame, he wears an intricate, mostly form fitting black cloak with a long silver zipper down the front
It's The Inside That Counts
Personality: Sol isn't a fan of people, he talks politely enough, and does his best not to be rude - though he is known to get annoyed if someone won't leave him alone. He's a quiet sort, avoiding big groups any loud gatherings, preferring to read, paint, draw, or sculpt. He finds others to be interesting to look at, perhaps, but uncomfortable to speak with- and he considers humans to be loud, boorish, annoying, and overly stupid - referring to them as "surface apes" or "rivvil" in his croaky voice. He doesn't like considering the past, but doesn't cry about it - he simply accepts it for what it was and has done his best to move on with his life. However, his imprisonment for so many years has left it's mark - Sol no longer feels comfortable with touch, food he has not prepared himself, or sleep.

History:
Solaufein De’Vir is a Dark Elf, a dark creature that look more like humans than the other creatures in their fantastical realm. They have pointed ears, darkly beautiful features, a wonderful aptitude for dark magics, and a love of both Spiders and poison: the more deadly the better. This love for dark things, and ambition that grew in the Dark Elves hearts led them to hold a scant few wars against mankind - though they were defeated each time by both the humans and the magical creatures aligned with them. At the end of the last war, the Dark Elves were all presumed destroyed. However, there were pockets of the evil creatures deep underground in lands they had forged themselves. Intent to regain power in their dark lands, the Drow have constructed many cities, even now preparing themselves for a war against the “surfacers.” There are some Drow, however, that have forgone their homeland, looking instead, to live upon the surface.
One such kingdom, was the Southern De’Vir Monarchy. The Kingdom was perhaps not the largest - but it was prosperous, and the great King, Lord Valas De'Vir ruled fairly. When King Valas felt he had ruled enough, he finally married - a beautiful young Dark Elf named Viconia - and the two had a single son.
He would never witness his kingdom.
Humans had found what they believed the last bastion of the dark creatures - and the hit them hard. The fight was short and bloody, the De'Vir kingdom wasn't prepared for war, they had not thought that their enemies would ever find them so far in the south. Viconia was cut down, her baby held tightly to her breast, and Valas was shot through the chest before he had even managed to don his armor.
Sol, being not but a babe remembers nothing of his parent’s death. His earliest memory was as a test subject in the Pavel home. Pyotr, an aging magical inventor that had been naught but a baby during the last Dark Elf war, and was keen to learn the workings of a live dark elf - as he thought them all extinct.
It wasn't until 20 years later when Sol was freed - by the B.P.R.D. of all people. A physical and psychological mess, he was taken into custody - but it was clear he wasn't a threat like his people had been. He's spent two years in a rehabilitation center off site, before finally returning to the B.P.R.D. - something he really doesn't have a choice in the matter on doing. To an extent, he's traded a painful prison, for a pleasant one - which he isn't particularly a fan of.
But he should like the library at least, it's full of very interesting material.

He walked out into the forest, into a cave he had found long ago, and down into his homeland.
Into the Underdark Solaufein went, so intent on finding the truths of his people, and of returning to them at last. The tunnels were filled with dangerous creatures, ferocious monsters, and sights that no human wizard had ever seen. Sol made his way through the long twisting tunnels, eventually finding his way to Menzoberrazen - the greatest Dark Elf city. Solaufein finally thought himself at home, he thought he had found the people he truly belonged with, and within the city he learned much.
Upon arrival Sol found a giant city, filled with the most beautiful creatures he had ever seen. Built into the giant rocks and crystals, Menzoberrazen was a city that glistened with unearthly beauty. Solaufein had little time to marvel at the sights though, as he quickly found himself captured and placed within the men's barracks - a building dedicated to training the men of Menzoberrazen in the arts of magic, war, and servitude. Here, Sol found that men were nothing, that he was nothing...and he could not have it any other way.
Menzoberrazen is a city ruled by women, men are nothing but slaves. The women serve as the sorcerer priestesses of the Temple of Lolth. These women, who held the majority of the populace, all held the power. It took no time for Sol to realize that the highest ranking male was still lower than the lowest ranking female. Men were sold and bought, used as guards and sex slaves. At the heart of it all was the Temple of Lolth, it served as both the spiritual and political base of power, and sitting at it's center, within her magically erected crystal tomb, was Lolth herself. Lolth had lost her first war against the elves, and had been so grievously wounded that she had to place herself inside a regenerative shell. This had never been attempted before, and never again since - as Lolth was sealed within her own shield - doomed to sleep for eternity. The Dark Elves all prayed to her, waiting for the day she would reawaken and lead them once again against the elves and the humans.
But Sol was different. He had not grown up in the city of Dark Elves, he had never been immersed in a world of ambition and greed. A world so dark, so horribly corrupt, that even a reasonably insane young man of 22 could see it's flaws.
And so once Sol had learned all he cared to know from his people, he escaped. Through the teachings of the Male Barracks, Sol had found out that the Menzoberrazen was not the only Dark Elf city. In the end he had discovered that deep in the south was a city the belonged to his own namesake. To house De'Vir.
So Solaufein headed south, hoping that he would find a true home in the Kingdom of De'Vir. A home he had not found with the people of Menzoberrazen. Using every means of fast travel he could, Sol made his further and further to the cold reaches of Antarctica - the home of Xar'zith Valshath - the only city of the Southern Kingdom.
