The Handler
Name: Isabella Elizabeth Sanguino
Nickname: Liz by certain people.
Classification: Vampire
Gender: Female
Age & Birthday: October 30
Appearance:
Although not tall or wide, her personality makes her seem ten times taller. She has blood red hair, not to long, not too short either, her lips are normally painted blood red as well. She is said to have glowing eyes, and claws for hands, but her eyes are merely a golden brown unless clearly reflected at night, and her nails have been filed long. She looks quite fearsome for someone so short. She is strong physically, and has abnormally large feet for someone her size, around a size eleven. She makes Elizabeth Bathory look normal.
Her skin was a nice Italian tan, but now it appears often so gaunt and pale, unless she is fully rejuvinated, which then she might gain back some of her normal pallor. Her posture is often always straight.
Attire:
Isabella's clothing is almost always red, or red related. It is a color she has an obsession with, and hterefore her clothing often will signify that. She prefers darker reds to anything. Often her clothing can go from sophisticated but masculine to extremely refined and feminine, most of her clothing is old fashioned due to her own history.
Isabella likes to wear clothing that is functional but provides a sort of purpose. Often if it means she can present a sort of image she will often wear things that fit it, especially when it comes to her demon image.
The Creation
Name: Bloody Liz
Power List: Demonic Features, Blood fire, Vampirism
Detailed Power:
1. Demonic Features - Liz has a resemblence to demonic creatures or vampiric creatures associated with demonic roots. Her eyes seem to reflect in the moonlight like an animals, and she has an aversion to bright lights. Her skin is an odd palour, it is believed by most normal people that its her own psychosis that has caused a sort of physical condition where her mind, fully believing herself to be a demon, has caused her body to take on these odd attributes. But those who know the paranormal know that thats not the truth, there is something supernatural in her blood and its evident on her features.
2. Blood Fire- Liz can create fire. But it isn't just any fire, it is a blood red fire that comes from her very core. Anything she touches can be engulfed in fire as long as her body still is connected to it. It cannot be doused by water, but it can by lack of oxygen, or bright lights. Any weapon she touches and holds with enough connection will also become immoliated enough to appear like a fiery weapon. Also her nails, can appear as fire.
3. Vampirism - No, she isn't a 'vampire' by cliche standards; she's not some teen looking 'beautiful' boy or girl with no sort of consequences. She is one of the true inspirations for the vampire legend. She must feed on blood to fuel her fire as well as energize herself within three days of her last feeding or else she will appear much more pale, freakish and gaunt. She seems to age and her eyes look more reddish. She goes into a sort of frenzy over the sight of the color red, and the sun truely has a maddening psychological affect, as well as physical religious items. As a consequence hoever, this is sometimes a risk she wants to take, as the longer she goes without blood, the stronger she becomes and the more deeply she engrains others with fear as they see her. But another consequence is that she needs to be shrouded if she goes in public during the day or risk severe physical burning or public condemnation.
The Potential
Alignment/Occupation: Unaffiliated for now.
Weapons: A sort of exquisite saber that can be used like a whip in segments, and knife she gained years ago; her own nails and teeth, a chain and cat-o-nine tails.
Personality:
She is fearsome, ruthless, and easily angered. But she is really a young scared girl. She is determined, and willing to do anything to achieve her goals. She is merciless, and has no sympathy for those she may capture. She has a fearsome secret that she keeps to herself, and therefore will lock her self away in one of her ill-gained manors and work to achieve something no one else knows about. She has an admirable side though, although it takes a long time gain her trust enough to see that.
She has an odd idea about good and evil, rarely does she see herself as good, but she feels the need to punish herself and others if they are 'evil' by her standards. She has an obsession with the color red and blood which is associated to it, and she has shown many masochistic and sadistic traits, showing maybe she has a need to cause herself and others psychological and physical trauma.
Skills:
Liz can speak multiple languages, notably mediteraenan languages; morrocan, italian and french. Liz also has a number of other 'refined' talents such as playing the piano.
Strengths:
Liz is naturally very athletic and physically strong. She is a strong hand to hand fighter, capable of using both bladed weaponry and her own hands to inflict all sorts of gruesome carnage. She also seems to be completely unsqueamish. She has slight medical knowledge in the area of blood.
Weaknesses: She is very psychologically damaged by her upbringing, causing her to be chaotic and easily enraged. She has horrible nightmares, and if reminded of them will often seem to want to revert to a almost childlike state.
The Story
History:
Isabella Elizabeth Sanguigno was born somewhere near Sicily, to a Count Luciano Sanguigno and a young servant woman. Her father cared for her greatly but, although he treated her like a daughter, she was illegitamite...and therefore had no clame to her father's inheritence. Although just a child, this greatly angered her, because she was never treated as good as the noble children. She was denied many privileges, like a place in her father's court, and was viewed with shame by her father's priests because she was concieved through adultry and was pretty much considered a living sin. This treatment might have been cause of her slip into madness.
She had a facination with blood and the color red growing up...she loved the color, and always would wear it whenever possible. One evening She was playing, before cutting her hand, and instead of crying like a normal little girl, she watched it run down her arm with facination, and even tasted it. A nun saw her do this, and told the head priest, who went into a frenzy. She went from just being a child, to a unholy creature in seconds, and was treated as thus. Her bright red hair, (both unnatural to most Italians or Sicilians, and viewed as a sign of a witch or devil because it was the supposed color of Judas) only made matters worse. Children werent allowed to play with her...the nursemaids were afraid to hold her. She grew up with an inferiority complex because of this. She even tried to cut her red hair off, but obviously that doesn't work, and it just grew back.
Her life went downhill when witnessing her real mother, who she did not know as her mother, die for heresy. She watched from her window, but it did not effect her yet, as she had no idea who the woman was. But, then her adoptive mother took ill, and on her death bed told her that she was not her child, but that of the woman who was just killed. She snapped, as she realized that she watched them kill her own mother, and swore off her religion after that. She withdrew physically and emotionally, and was considered insane and sent away to a convent, until they viewed her as sane.
That's where history gets shady...some say that she returned one day, and out of spite and for revenge burnt and plundered the entire town she grew up in, "sentencing" all of the priests and nobles to the same death they sentenced her real mother to. She loved her father dearly, and ate with him before departing. She sailed across the Mediterranean, and up to France, where she raided coastal towns. She then made her way up to the English Channel, while travelling on the Atlantic burned many ships, and killed many people; few were safe, only children were left alive. She began to take the name "Bloody Liz".
Many years have passed since then, and the name Bloody Liz only existed to haunt the dreams of children, as an urban legend. Her story rivalled that of Erzebet Bathory in its depravity. Now she has come out again to bath the world in blood and finally gain the answers she's looking for. She clearly has not taken a side in the conflict between the BPRD and Nuada's Army, although she will soon, depending on what happens to her.
