The Handler
Name: Langdon Everett Caul
Nickname: Eve, usually just Langdon will do.
Classification: Halfling. Her mother was an Elf, and her father was a human.
Gender: Female
Age & Birthday: 09/26/1986
Appearance: Small with a slight frame, Langdon has always been shorter than everyone else, standing at 5'1.5" and weighing only 103.6lbs. She has straight black hair, cut into a soft layered bob that frames her sharp features. She has pronounced cheek bones and large, dark brown eyes and a narrow nose. Her lips are full, and her top lip is slightly larger, just like her namesake's. Her skin is fair, but she doesn't burn very easily. Her limbs are narrow and very frail looking. Despite her appearance, she is of normal strength.
Attire: Generally seen wearing a pair of 'skinny jeans', a tank top, and an over-sized black sweater paired with some simple black flats, Langdon sometimes succumbs to her more theatrical and dramatic side, and comes up with rather wild outfits.
The Creation
Name: (Got a name you go by? Codename?)
Power List: Photographic memory.
Detailed Power: She is able to walk into a room, look around, walk back out, and give an exact description of what she just saw, right down to what exactly was on the shelf, and what colour the drapes were, etc.
The Potential
Alignment/Occupation: Being part Elf, part human, she is often torn between the human race and the Elves. She is currently working for the B.P.R.D.
Weapons: Occasionally a handgun, but she rarely goes on any field missions.
Personality: She is highly intelligent, which leads to her being a bit of a smart-allec at times, and she loves a good argument (which she calls a 'debate'). Usually a good tempered person, she is slow to anger, but once she is upset she ends to snap at people. She is a good listener, and is good at calming people. She loves to be around people most of the time, and is a social butterfly. One of her favourite things to to is befriend the people who seem to be the least friendly. She loves to help people, and likes to clean things, as long as they belong to someone else (i.e. she's willing to help wash the dishes after someone throws a party, but has a pile of dishes waiting to be washed in her own sink.) Being a very dramatic person, she likes to do things just for dramatic effect, and tends to blow what would be a small problem out of proportion.
She enjoys reading, writing, music, and loves animals of all kinds (from spiders to bunnies). She doesn't have a preferred type of music, and will listen to just about anything except for country.
Her dislikes are subjects such as math and science, which she is good at, but has never enjoyed, as she often gets very frustrated with problems that are quite simple by making them seem harder than they really are. She has never been very good at sports or P.E., and will do the bare minimum of what is required.
Skills: She has learned to play piano as well as guitar, and rides horses, sings in a choir, and can juggle. She also enjos archery.
Strengths: Anything having to do with reading, writing, organizing, or speaking is usually quite easy for Langdon. Having good people skills, she is good with getting people to talk to her by gaining their trust, which is useful for gathering information. She has very fast reflexes, and can run quickly.
Weaknesses: Though she is a fast runner, she tires easily. She is good at mathematics and science (mostly chemistry) but as mentioned before, often makes things much harder than they need to be, thus frustrating herself.
The Story
History: Born in San Francicso in 1986, Langdon is the first girl to be born in her family in 188 years. Her father, having decided to name the baby he was sure would be a son after his great-great-great-great uncle, was so flustered when he discovered that his wife had delivered a girl that he blurted out the name he had originally chosen, and so the baby girl was stuck with a man's name; the name of her great(times 6) uncle, who had mysteriously vanished in 1865, never to be seen again.
Growing up, Langdon was an intelligent child, and though she was usually very sweet, she prone to sudden and unexpected temper-tantrums, which she eventually outgrew.
Her mother had left when Langdon was only 6, but returned many times to visit her daughter, and eventually tried to convince her to live with the Elven clan of Bethmoora, which was still under the rule of King Balor at the time. Langdon, however, refused to leave. Her mother's abandonment had left a rift between them, and so Langdon continued to live with her father until she turned 18, and left for college.
She attended Berkeley College in New Jersey, studying to become an agent for the F.B.I., but after learning about the B.P.R.D. she decided to apply for a job there instead.
