The Handler
Name: Jonah Saturday Graves
Nickname: Joe Saturday
Classification: Human Being
Gender:Male
Age & Birthday: 3-15
Appearance: He is a athletically built young man, with a medium stature. Most would say he was unremarkable in appearance, or his unkempt black hair, and green eyes no doubtfully belong to a million others in the world. Most the time he goes three or more days without shaving. When he smiles, it is almost a smirk and you wonder if he knows something you don’t, or if you are a punch line for a personal joke.
His body isn't what you would call chisiled, but one glimpse, at his arms or legs, and you can tell he doesn't sit on his butt all day. Usually bruised from whatever case he was on, it is not uncommon to see him covered in bandages, or if worse comes to worse a cast of short. Overall Jonah would never be a Chippendale.
(Attire: Never intending to be a lone man in black, or a mysterious stranger in a long coat, Jonah keeps it simple with business casual tops, dockers, and comfy leather shoes. while at work. Ocassionally he has been know to bust out his JC Penny suit when it was needed, but he doesn't go to church that much. At home he has been known known to lounge in any old t-shirt he can find, and a nice pair of sleep pants.

Personality: A man on a mission, and with no time to let his hair down, Jonah’s view of the world is simple; he can’t save everybody, but he can sure as heck try. In his eyes good should always triumphant over evil, and if he doesn’t win maybe at this point and juncture he wasn’t as good as he thought he was, or maybe God wasn’t on his side.
His few friends see him as uptight, and a little high strung. All would say that he didn’t necessarily need to get laid, but he does need to let his hair down a bit. The Story
History:
Jonah wasn't born under a bad sign, no the stop sign that his father plowed over, when the baby was coming may have been dented, pinned under a pinto, but it had served the community well. Besides being born though in a lime green pinto, Jonah's early life was very uneventful, except for the events that plague us all i.e. being picked last in gym, or being accused of eating your booger's, and having that information passed around the school. His parents loved him, and even though they never got him the giant G.I. Joe aircraft carrier for christmas he knew they loved him, and his brother and sister very much. Over all even with his father trying to build a entertainment empire, and his mother trying to be a real estate queen, Jonah never felt unloved, or forgotten.
Jonah's teen years rolled in, and like every boy, he began to go through changes; hair every where, the need to shower every night wasn't just good hygene, it was now proof that you was normal. Jonah fought like every adoloscent to fit in, and like most of us, he failed miserablely, and hung to the fringe praying to God that the"cool" kids never seen him. Right after his voice dropped something else happened as well, Jonah began to see things, no one else seen. One night he woke up to somone reving their engines. When he went to his window he seen a couple on a motor cycle enjoying themselves. His eyes meet the women's, and his body fell cold. The woman as surprised as his tapped on mate's shoulder and pointed up at Jonah's room. But the man paid no attention and continued to travel a few feet before the cycle was hit by a phantom car. Jonah began to scream waking up the whole house, as he tried to put on his jacket. His parent's thinking that something bad had happened followed their son out only to find their son dancing in the street like a maniac.
In Jonah's world the young couple laid dying on the asphalt the woman still staring at him, but not in the amount of pain you would expect, "Calm down." She said even with her neck bent in a unnatural way with a motorcycle covering her, "I don't even have a body anymore, my parent's torched it years ago." She even managed to smile for a second, "The only pain I have now is regret, and of course I am worried about my little sister---they thought Bert over there was bad, but Kyle is a monster i see him every day--" She would go in to explain how she had watched her sister's boyfriend do heinous deeds to animals and her sister a like. Of course before he had a chance to act on his first case he found himself in the back of ambulance having what everyone was calling a nervous breakdown.
For years after he had to teach himself to ignore the ghost he seen, no matter how much they pleaded with him to help them. He couldn't frighten his mother, or upset his father. His siblings already wouldn't associate with him at school. So know matter how scary the ghost got, or how much they pestered him, he had to convince himself that if he wanted to lead a happy life he couldn't notice them.
College came, and went, and for once in his life he was Bridgette brother, or Paul's Son. He was Jonah Graves, the kid who seemed to stay in his room when he wasn't in class, and who often stared at the wall at thinks that were not there. To his classmates he was a spazz. He might have continued on this course but he met a girl.
Her name was Marigold Trevor, and at age six she had watched her mother gun down her father, and seconds later had seen what she had learned later was her father's soul rising from her father's body. Before she could scream her mother turned her gun on her daughter firing a shot that put the little girl in a hosptial for a month. During her time time her father's spirit stuck by and comforted her, and when he was satisfied she was going to be sent to a good home, he finally ascended
Her first words to Jonah was simple, 'So your the creep who's making me do all the work while he sits on his ass." She explained how people like them were few and far between, and they needed all hey help they could get. Seriously di you want to face the big guy on your personal judgement day, and told him or her that you didn't use the gift he gave you.
As the semester's rolled on, and Jonah kept his grades above water Marigold trained him, and drafted him into some of her cases. Slowly but surely the world began to gainsomeone who would help people who everyone else ignored or didn't believe in. In the end though as graduation loomed Marigold and Jonah knew it was time to part. Thier would be no dynamic duo in their future, and the two could best serve the world apart.
Years passed Jonah worked for his father in his normal life, and inestigated for the dad in his paranormal life. He married a girl next door, but soon discovered that everyone hid something, and his wife had married him so her parents would forget another lover from what they all hoped was a phase. They divorced quietly, and still speak with each other. At thirty two, Jonah is a busy man he co-owns his father's Trenton Sound Stereo Sales, and as he tells his dad he spends his night playing World of Warcraft. Only the ghost, and the things in the darkness truly know what he is doing
