Adara's icy blue eyes narrowed as she watched the general. She hated him already. This was the first encounter she'd had with him and she knew without a doubt that she hated him. Not only was he obviously rude and clearly disrespectful to their Prince, but he was old and ugly. Not at all the way any self respecting elf should allow themselves to ever look like.
She lifted her chin a little higher as her nose wrinkled in open disgust for the older elf. She truly didn't care if he thought her to be disrespectful. He'd shown little if any to Prince Nuada, the one whom was trying to save their kind! No, he seemed intent on causing problems, and that didn't sit well with her. They should be banding together, getting ready to wipe out the plague which was known as humans! Not bickering amongst themselves about Princess Nuala of all things.
Adara wasn't stupid. She'd heard the rumors that the general was in love with the Princess. She'd also heard that he'd tried to get her hand in marriage. She snorted just thinking of that. Royalty marrying something like that? She was being overly harsh in her thoughts perhaps, but she'd decided she hated him and these thoughts were actually mild at the moment.
Turning her attention to her brother again, she plucked absently at his sleeve. She was actually beginning to grow a bit bored. She was all for drama, but over the Princess? Couldn't the drama be focused on something a tad more exciting? "{I'm bored,}" she whispered softly so only he could hear her.
"{Hush, sister}", Thalion whispered back, his voice a bit harsh as he was obviously getting a bit annoyed with his twin. He loved her, he did... But he honestly wished she would learn to hold her tongue and be patient when things didn't automatically go her way.
Pouting, Adara cruelly pinched her brother's arm before turning her head to watch Nuada. He should be sitting on that throne. She had half the mind to yell that out to him, but she knew she had to behave. And that wouldn't be. That would be urging him to break with tradition. She couldn't help but sigh, feeling more than a bit disappointed that he was agreeing with the council. Why did they need Nuala? She'd obviously turned her back on all of them, and yet? They didn't seem to care.
