"Seriously dude, I just fix broken technology and usually keep my nose out of the field." Tabby replied to his question. Though it seemed that sometimes the field seemed to find her, a perfect example being today and the last time she went out and about from the Bureau. "It's a big bureaucracy and I'm just there to do like virus scans on the computers and sent up communications. If it makes you feel better, I'm leaning more towards the idea that they won't kidnap you. Promise." She was awesome.
"I will definitely check that out." Tabby replied to Jaylin, pocketing the iPod and tucking the box underneath her arm. She then thought of something, and pulled the pet store receipt from her pocket. "If you're ever um in supernatural trouble, or maybe want to check out a position with us -- call this number." She scribbled the number of one of Manning's underlings onto the receipt and handed it to him. "We could set you up with some pretty sweet digs if you ever feel like working for the man..." She paused for a few moments and then said, "Well, nice to um...Yeah. Take care?"

"Sure," Jaylin said, taking the number, "But if I do decide to join you guys, I'll at least ask if it's policy to go around kidnapping people."
He was pretty sure no matter how low on the totem pole he was, he'd want to be able to say that the didn't do that kind of thing without any hesitation, no matter how slight. Currently, he already had a job and knew too little to really want to go off and join them, but if he was ever in some kind of trouble that was the sort they might bail him out of he wouldn't hesitate to give them a cause. Jaylin doubted such a situation would arrive. After all, he'd never been in any kind of supernatural trouble up until that point.
Shoving the piece of paper into his pocket, Jaylin said, "You, too." Then went through the back door, holding the thermos. He'd put it and the mouse remaining inside in the refrigerator and eat it later.

Tabby let out a breath as he finally went back inside of the pet store. "I am never going out of the Bureau alone again." She muttered to herself, turning and beginning to leave the alley. The hamster inside the box underneath her arm scrabbled about nervously, and Tabby suddenly got the image of the guy eating the supposedly frozen mouse and got sick to her stomach. "Don't worry." She whispered to the hamster. "I'm sure those were bad mice. Plus they weren't hamsters."She arrived at the street and hailed a passing cab, suddenly eager to get back to the bureau.
