The small pixie sat on the back of a dog as it made its way through the crowd of creatures. Jumping off the brown dog she climbed up one of the creatures legs and jumped onto its head. Finding the next head she felt every muscle in her body tense as she prepared to jump. When she was in range she leaped from the head onto a shoulder and so on and so forth until she landed one of the light fixtures.
Taking a moment to look around her pupil-less green eyes scanned the stalls until she saw the one she was looking for. Using the same method as before she came to rest on the top of a stall. She put a hand on her stomach, where the small pock was sewn and pulled out a gold and diamond ring. With a sigh and a smile and she went to stick it back in her pocket, but it had already been spotted. A blue fairy flew in front of her and grabbed the ring, three of his buddies following after him as they all collaborated on a stall across the crowd from her.
Trinket glared, it was her ring she’d stolen it from that rich man’s house. Speaking her mind the first of the unrepeatable words was said. Trinket screamed then across the market in Fae, though she new no civil words in this tongue only insults and swears. The fairies stopped what they were doing to look over at her. They talked between themselves as Trinket through another insult at them. That seemed to be enough and one of she females stood and shouted back.
Choice words were exchanged, much like the first they were words that should not and could not be repeated, insults were being thrown across the crowd. After a few minutes Trinket had finally had enough. Letting the last of the insults by the blue skinned creatures she gave a smirk. Turning she walked over to a pile of acorns, stones and other assorted small objects and picked up a few.
Silence spread between the two sworn enemies as Trinket turned back to the four fairies. Tossing on of the acorns in her left and she held another under her arm. Another smile spread across the mischievous pixie’s face as she spoke.
“Bring it, pretty boy.” A bizarre battle cry was made and all hell broke loose. Trinket hurled the acorn at one of the fairies with deadly accuracy hitting it in the smaller female in the head and she fell off the stalls cloth roof. The second it the lead male in the chest and he stumbled back.
Retaliating both with their own equally bizarre battle cry and with acorns and sticks the fairies started tossing them back. Trinket has the upper hand, she spend all her life tossing objects so she’d gotten pretty good at it. The fairies on the other hand flew every where so when it came to tossing objects there aim was off. More words and insults were thrown across the ally. The fairy holding the ring dropped it when blocking a stone, neither the fairies or pixie noticed as it bounced into the crowd.
Trinkets long green hair was becoming tangled and getting dirty, her small green outfit scuffed with dirt. The Pixie's thin body made it easy to dodge the few stray items that made there way to where she was.
The fairies fought out of anger and Trinket fought to get back her ring. Neither party seemed to notice or care about the bystanders who were also being pelted as they passed under the juvenile war.
