Description: On numerous occasions a cryptid known as the Jersey Devil has been spotted along the shores of the Batsto River. Recently it has been sighted closer and closer to civilization in the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve. In the past week it has started to disrupt the public by breaking into several Ranger stations and destroying property from jeeps to boats.

Name: MaryBeth Sutherland

Description: The first to come into contact with the Leed Devil. What was previously thought to be raccoons that broke into a storage facility through a window but after investigation Mrs. Sutherland came across a small creature with the description of a large reptilian creature with a long large head, stick like arms and a tail. The creature became startled and fled into the surrounding forest.

Name: John Finkly
Relationship: Park Ranger
Description: Mr. Finkly’s ranger jeep was mauled by a creature during a night shift. Parked outside of the main ranger station, it was a high pitched scream that drew him and other out to see two red glowing eyes. The creature was lost in the darkness and only after a quick search did Mr. Finkly find the state of his jeep.

Name: George Hayward and Lewis Franks
Relationship: Illegal Fisherman
Description: Two friends spent the afternoon fishing in the Batsto river. Their boat was tipped over and drug under the water. Several dark shapes huddled at the river bank and emitted several shrieks before vanishing. The boat was found one mile upriver, overturned and beached. The men were rescued by a passing Ranger.

Background Info: The Jersey Devil also know as the Leed Devil has been an urban myth since the early 1800’s. Along with it, it has several incarnations ranging from the three foot beast with the traditional wings, dog face and hooves to a human child no older then 6 years old age. There has been one unconfirmed report that is may actually be a young dragon. A team will be sent in to disclose the cryptid and retrieved if necessary at team leader’s discretion.
