Short Stuff

Yeah, sooo.. I've been lurking, and I figured typing out a little intro would calm my nerves. :3

Anyways, I go by Ashe on forums, Ashee to my friends, and Havoka in online games. It's amazing that I don't have an identity crisis. I'm nineteen and pretty short (seriously, I'm 5'0''), and I'm currently unemployed and not in school because the economy sucks and all that. I've been RPing since I was nine, started out in AOL chatrooms and eventually moved onto forums. First ever RP: Sailor Moon. Don't hate.

Um.. I'm a pretty big fan of manga/anime and comic books in general, though I will admit I haven't read any Hellboy comics (okay, I lie, I read one, but I have no clue what issue it was). I've RPed X-Men, Harry Potter, Batman, Sailor Moon, Kingdom Hearts, original RPs, supernatural stuff, etc. etc... My characters tend to be comic relief.

Recent obsessions include Repo! The Genetic Opera, and Watchmen (I found ONE forum through RPG-D, and it was closed down >_> Grrr). I'm kinda sorta trying to write some fanfiction, but I have a feeling it's very Mary Sue-ish and I refuse to show anyone. Ever. Never ever. So there.

And now for random bursts of info! I plan on going to Horrorfind Weekend in September, where I shall get to meet Doug Jones and have him sign a bunch of crap for me and harass him until I get my picture taken with him. He's been in a lot of stuff. A looooot of stuff. It's freaking ridiculous. I love horror movies. I find dead people fascinating. Video games and music have joint custody of my soul. And.. I like marshmallows.

Welcome Ashe ^^ I'm so glad you found your way to our little corner. Nine? So young but a seasoned RPer. Awesome. You've got some great fandoms mentioned, big X-Men RPer too and hey, I grew up on Sailor Moon. Before that it was Transformers and My Little Ponies. So nothing wrong with pink wands and short skirts. XD

I know the Watchmen forum you're talking about, I wanted to join it too but alas they closed. I had one too for a short while but it was more heavily inspired by it, then actual canon. Due to RL (It's a blasted little thing) I had to close it. But hey, more of me here.

I am now jealous of you going to Horrorfind, you have to seriously share your Dougie pictures. There are a couple of us on the board who are big Doug Jones fans and we simply adore him. I'm looking forward to seeing My Name is Jerry. I also just saw him in the remake of the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, he played Cesare. The movie was eeeh but loved Doug in it. I was literally mesmerized that he could pick up Jane whom I'm sure was no more than 20 lbs lighter than him, with effortless ease.

Repo is wonderful. I adore that movie. Plus I squeed when I saw Giles from Buffy singing and ripping out people's hearts. Feels good man.

I am also jealous of the opportunity to meet Doug. I recently friended him on Facebook and was accepted, which led Abe and I to scream at each other over the phone in glee. So yeah.
