While I might play the every peaceful Nuala on this lovely site, in reality, I'm not like that, xD I'm not crazily against war - in fact, quite the opposite! Now, why did I have to explain that? Well, the reason is...

I have an appointment with an Army recruiter on Saturday! =0
I have always entertained the thought of joining the military (I've taken Military History, which was my favorite class, my father was in the Air Force, I got shooting with him almost every Saturday, etc) - and I finally go the chance to check it out!

I was at my best friend's house, and an Army Recruiter came to her door. She was going to just say she wasn't interested, but I popped up and started talking to the guy. He was really nice, and told me to come in on Saturday to talk to him!

So I am! Whoot!

I know its a crazy big decision to join... But I'm really considering it.

So, thoughts, anyone? xD

I say go NAVY! But thats just because my little bro is in the navy and my dad was too. Dad didnt make a career out of it, but its looking like my little brother might. Hes over seas right now, last port i heard was Greece.

I say good for you, but continue putting some thought into it. My Dad was in the Navy and later regretted getting out of it (at the behest of his 1/3 wife). Plus you'll get a chance to see the world, and all that delightful money for college.

Well, my best friend and I went to talk to the recruiter, and I pretty much like most of what he said - except the fact that women can't be in the infantry, >.< Sexist! Gah! ...Anyways.
I'm leaning towards it a bit, but its a huge decision, and I need to be sure.
Plus, a lot of people are telling me to go Air Force.
What do you guys think about that?
