- John Myers is transferred to the BPRD base in Antarctica.
- Agent Ben Daimio is killed by a werewolf in the Canadian wilderness.
- Hellboy and Liz Sherman marry.
- Prince Nuada begins his campaign to retrieve the three pieces of the crown that will control the invincible Golden Army.
- Liz discovers she's pregnant.
- Johann Krauss arrives from the German division of the Bureau.
- Princess Nuala finds refuge with the BPRD. There she meets Abe Sapien.
- Prince Nuada infiltrates the Bureau, stabs Hellboy, and kidnaps Nuala. Unfortunately for him, Nuala's crown piece remains behind.
- Hellboy, Liz, Abe, and Krauss go AWOL to Giant's Causeway to meet with Nuada.
- Liz takes Hellboy to the Angel of Death located in Bethmoora. There, the angel prophesies that Hellboy is the end of this world and gives Liz a chance to save him -- but promises if Hellboy is saved, she will suffer more than anyone else. She decides to save Hellboy and divulges that he will be a father
- Hellboy challenges Nuada for control of the Golden Army. They fight and Nuada wins. He leaves Hellboy alive so he can watch the destruction of the world of Man.
- The BPRD pools their resources. Frankie Guidicini arrives from Russia, Sister Angel Maxwell returns from her mission following the New Jersey Devil, and FBI agent Kasim Chionesu is transferred into the BPRD in New Jersey.
- Liz is pulled off of field work due to her pregnancy and the other agents prepare for the coming war.
- Nuala leaves Abe and the Bureau to gather her own people, effectively splitting the kingdom of Elfland in half as she asserts her own right to the throne.
- Frankie infiltrates Nuada's kingdom as surveillance and to attempt to find a way to stop Nuada without bloodshed or his death in order to take advantage of Nuala being an ally.
- Nuada and the Golden Army attacks New York City, reducing almost all of it to utter ruin. BPRD agents attempt to stop him long enough to get civilians out, but fail. Nuada continues south.
- Nuada uses his army to raze the BPRD headquarters in New Jersey to the ground. Kate Corrigan is killed in action attempting to stall the Golden Army while Liz is evacuated. Tom Manning is also killed when he takes point and single-handedly prevents the rest of the Bureau from being overrun by the Golden Army. His efforts ensure that 85% of the Bureau is safely evacuated, including Hellboy, Krauss, and Roger the Homunculus.
- The remnants of the Bureau revive an old base in the wilderness of Colorado as their new headquarters. They're joined by Myers and the rest of the team from Antarctica.
2009
- The entire east coast has been obliterated by the Golden Army. Nuada's bravado has inspired supernatural and other-worldly forces throughout the entire earth to rise up and take back what was originally theirs. The world is plunged into chaos.
- The Bureau's agents have been reduced by upwards of 50% due to failed attempts to stop Nuada.
- Hellboy decides to make the ultimate sacrifice. He kisses his wife goodbye, put a hand on her swollen stomach, and leaves the Bureau. Using the Right Hand of Doom, he unleashes the Ogdru Jahad and becomes Anung un Rama, hoping to stop Nuada and his army.
- Hellboy's actions unleash all the other supernatural and divine forces that ever were. They enter the mortal sphere and Ragnarök begins.
- Months pass, people die, and the only remaining forces are Nuada and his army, Anung un Rama, the Ogdru Jahad, and the scraggly remains of the BPRD joined with Nuala's collected army. They meet on the wasted plains to wage the last battle for earth's soul.
- The three forces clash. Early in the battle, the Ogdru Jahad knock Nuada to the ground and his crown is destroyed. He quits the field and beats a hasty retreat.
- Liz, knowing what is happening as she is tucked safely in the confines of the Bureau, goes into labor. She delivers twins, a boy and a girl, and dies of complications after giving them their names.
- Frankie, no longer serving a purpose with Nuada, leaves him at the beginning of the battle, revealing that she is carrying his child. She joins the tattered remains of the BPRD and fights with them.
- Sister Angel and Kasim die together on the battlefield with 75% of the remaining Bureau agents.
- Hellboy defeats the Ogdru Jahad as Anung un Rama. He has saved the world and, simultaneously, ended it. The wounds he has suffered are too severe and he dies, knowing that whatever the world will now become, he has made it so.
- The battle for earth's soul over, Nuada returns to his kingdom to regroup and govern his people. Nuala does the same, but remains an ally with the BPRD.
- The few agents who survived return with the remains of their brothers- and sisters-in-arms to Colorado only to find that they must bury another. Hellboy, Liz, Angel, and Kasim are buried with the others in a vast valley near the BPRD.
- Abe spearheads the rebuilding of the BPRD. Frankie joins him and they serve as co-directors.
- The twins, Trevor and Magdalena, are communally cared for by members of the BPRD including intrepid techie Tabby Whitman-Foster and her husband Xavier Foster. Foster's son Elijah becomes the first student of the quickly established Broom Foundation, focusing on the youth of the BPRD.
- Water lines and natural wells are breached. Many survivors die of digestive issues due to drinking contaminated water. Water purification pills and methods are distributed en masse.
2010
- The BPRD works on securing its borders. Supernatural controlled areas have popped up around formerly densely populated areas. The BPRD is able to cut a large swath of the former United States for themselves while other areas are controlled by Nuala and Nuada or serve as no-man's land.
- Most of the power plants pre-Ragnarök have been destroyed. Tabby works on producing generators en masse to try and get electricity back to the people under BPRD's protection.
- Riordan Silverlance, son of Frankie and Nuada, is born in the BPRD.
- Realizing that there's a severe shortage of food stores and production, those within the BPRD controlled provinces are put on rations. The agriculture division of the BPRD is established with farming in former Kansas, some parts of Utah, Colorado, Idaho, and California, and ranching in Nevada, Oregon, and Wyoming.
2011
- The first post-Ragnarök clash occurs on the northern borders of the BPRD provinces with Nuada's forces. Due to a lack in manpower, most of Idaho, Oregon, and Wyoming are lost to Nuada's kingdom.
- Electricity is restored to the entirety of Colorado.
- Petroleum fuel reserves run low, and Tabby and the Bureau tech teams set to work replacing gasoline engines with ethanol engines.
2012
- The big project for the year is restoring radio and cell towers. Long distance communication only exists in some areas and is impossible over distances greater than 150 miles.
- Los Angeles becomes an inferno a few days before Christmas due to a ritual held by a cult of Anung un Rama. Several BPRD agents are sent in to put a stop to it. Two are killed in action. The cultists are stop but the resulting blaze burns well into 2013, eradicating much of the ruined city.
2013
- Myers begins public recruiting to replenish the BPRD's falling numbers. The agent program begins to slowly rebuild.
- Power is restored west to Salt Lake City.
2014
- Nuala's kingdom is attacked by a large force of supernaturals via New York City. The Bureau strengthens the elven queen's numbers, the supernatural assailants are defeated, and no ground is lost.
- Abe and Nuala's daughter Oona is born, creating something of a scandal in Nuala's court.
- Power is restored to most of Kansas, focusing on the growing agricultural division of the Bureau. Rations remain in place.
2015
- Constant clashes between Nuada's forces and the Bureau creates a strip of no-man's land in southern Nebraska.
- Any humans wandering into Nuada's kingdom or supernatural controlled areas begin disappearing.
- Power is restored from Salt Lake City to Winnemucca, NV.
2016
- The cell and radio towers are restored in BPRD controlled areas. A small tech force ventures into no-man's land in Kentucky and Tennessee to reestablish communications there. By the end of the year, communication is stable throughout all of the BPRD's territories.
- The Bruttenholm twins are kidnapped by cultists hoping to use them as conduits to resurrect the Ogdru Jahad. Abe Sapien and John Myers rescue them with a small team, effectively wiping out the cultists.
- Power is restored to BPRD controlled Idaho, Oregon, and California. However, because of the proximity to hostile forces, the power grid is often sabotaged.
2017
- New Orleans implodes due to a concentration of magical energy created by followers of Santeria who continued to flock to the city after Ragnarök. The resulting vacuum makes much of southern Louisiana inhabitable by anything other than supernatural beings.
2018
- Power is restored to all corners of the BPRD territories.
2019
- The idea of trying to restore governance to the BPRD territories by a body other than the Bureau is introduced. Because of the supernatural and Silverlance threats as well as the areas of no-man's land that separate the provinces as a whole, it is delayed for the time being.
- The tenth anniversary of Ragnarök is observed. A memorial fountain with purified water available for public consumption is erected in memory of the fallen near the Bureau in Colorado. Steps to restore water lines and give the province of the BPRD pure running water everywhere are taken.
2020
- With several bountiful harvests under the ag division's belt and existing food storage, the BPRD relaxes the strict limitations on food consumption, but food continues to be rationed.
- Pure water is available throughout Kansas and New Mexico.
2021
- There's a clash at the northern borders of the BPRD with Nuada's forces over installation of water lines. Several die on each side, but the water lines are installed. Idaho, Oregon, and Wyoming have purified water.
2022
- Pure water is restored to the rest of the BPRD provinces with little difficulty.
2023
- A twelve-point plan for restoring democratic government is outlined by Aamir Ramliyya.
2024
- The remains of the World Wide Web are made available to those with the technology once more due to the efforts of Tabby Whitman-Foster.
2025
- Nuada makes an advance on Nuala's territory. Nuala easily rebuffs the assailing forces without the BPRD's help, but accepts some agents for fortifying the borders.
2026
- A son is born to Nuala and Abe, creating an even larger scandal than the birth of their daughter. The BPRD withdraws their agents and stays out of Nuala's affairs for the time being to allow tensions to ease.
2027
- Maggie and Trevor reach adulthood and become BPRD field agents.
2028
- Riordan joins the Bruttenholm twins as a BPRD field agent.
2029
- The twins and Riordan are the only survivors of a mission into no-man's land to retrieve components for continued water purification.
2030
- Rations are eliminated completely.
