Man, just one post in the game and I'm already thinking about other characters. Considering that I have a somewhat limited energy supply, it'll probably be a while before I take on someone else, but here's my ideas so far: Mother Goodtree. An ancient troll witch set on making sure that her people gets a satisfying piece of this new world, no matter what humans or snotty elves think about it. With a sharp tongue and even sharper spells, she'll stop at nothing to make sure that her people are safe. In many ways the polar opposite of the refined Chamberlain. Faun, unnamed so far. Wicked and tricky, only out for himself and his desires. Vampire, unnamed so far. I haven't decided if he's evil or not, I only know that he does not want to see mankind eradicated since it means losing his food supply. Young troll maiden, unnamed so far. I have really no idea what I want to do with this one, the picture is just so inspiring. I'm a bit nervous over writing female characters below middle age since I fear I'll insert too much of myself in them or stumble into the dreaded Mary Sue territory.
The one thing I know about these people is that I want them on the side of Nuada, each for different reasons. Comments and critique are very welcome.

Personally I like to see characters with real purpose and story, which generally means I like older characters. Your Troll Witch I REALLY like to be perfectly honest. I was thinking of remaking my Fir Darrig (Fairy with a nasty penchant for morbid practical jokes and a talent in general trickery, mine was some kind of creepy fae-surgeon) on Nuada's side. But I know the feeling of having all these personas in your head just itching to get out, but there's only so much time and energy.

I love all these characters and I have a partial weakness for the Faun because Doug Jones and THAT MOVIE!! I really also like Mother Goodtree.
I always fret about making female characters too, I never feel like I'm any good at them or massacre them into a MS. But, we don't learn till we try. If I can play a young female character, then I know you can too.

So far the troll witch is my first choice for another character, followed by the faun. They're the most fleshed out ones in my head with clear motivations. I've found that to be very important when making characters - they must want something.
