Hello everyone. Franke here, assistant admin, and I have been granted the happy task of posting this...notice.
There will be a small team sent to gather Kamui from Europe. This will be led by one senior member of the BPRD and mostly be a training exercise for new agents. Consider this a sign up sheet: New agents are welcome, but only one senior member as leader.

Consider this a sign up for my other character, Typhon, as well, if you need bodies. Though, I'll happily bow out to make room for someone else if they wish to join the fun. I'm not greedy ^_~

I think it's almost safe to assume that everyone and their mother will want to go.
As such, I sign up all of my characters (Arkins, Hellboy, and Sol)
Though I doubt Sol would as a person, actually want to go.

I would just like to gently remind everyone that going to find Kamui is for new agents. It is so the new agents can get their feet wet in the realm of the supernatural. For instance, if your agent has been around the BPRD for a few months to a few years, they will be staying home. This is for the new agents and one senior agent.

Okay now I'm confused.
Are you telling us that senior agent position is filled? If so, I wouldn't have bothered to put HB in the running.
This is unclear.
Also, how big is the team anyhow?

Ok. I just got a little bit of clarification so let me clear things up.
This mission is for all of the new members and one senior agent. It is a simple, "We're going to get someone" mission. The Bureau's look for discreetness, so human agents (or agents who look mostly human) are a must. This is so the new agents can get a feel for what missions are, even though in all likelihood, there will be no violence during this mission.

Okay... not to be a pest, but now I have a question. Who are they going to get? Kamui is not making himself known. He's hiding from scientists who want to make him a lab rat, and has so far been able to avoid them. He's good at hiding... so unless something draws him out, it would be entirely likely the BPRD wouldn't know he was there. It's not like he's attacking anyone... I don't want to nit-pick... but just going out to get him... doesn't exactly seem likely. How would they know he was there? Or where he was? Why would they want to pick him up if he's not harming anyone... and what would they offer him to get him to come with? This is, of course, assuming their going after Kamui and not someone else. If they're going after someone else then I'll shut up now and pretend I haven't just humiliated myself...  |

First, I want to say thank you so much Frankie. You've been awesome in being my bridge to the game this weekend. Only through her was I am able to get this thread started with a barrage of text messages and her patience for my babblings.
What I figured we could do, is do an actual training mission out in the field and then cross paths with Kamui, thus turning into a "real" mission that they could handle. Well, as much as they can with tricky little Kamui.

All righty, anyone else interested in this? We still need a senior agent. I will be temping Manning to inform the team of their assignment and though he will tag along, he will be a background character. There will also be a few NPC red shirts agents for everyone to use, though no killing them. That's my job. They will also be established in the game by name, but after that they're free to use as you please.
