The dark clouds seemed to float like ghosts around the plane as it floated through the sky. Lighting and thunder echoed in the sky and made Cassie jump every time that their ballad rang out. Cassie hated to fly. She would not have minded flying herself, but the Bureau wanted everyone to be on the same flight so that they could get briefed together. Cassie turned on the light above her seat as to be able to find her bag. Cassie's black hair was up in two little buns on either side of her head with her bright green strand fell in her face. Her pale skin decorated with freckles seemed to turn deathly white against her standard black outfit that consisted of a tank top, pants, and boots. Her belt decorated with different weapons and instruments needed for missions lay next to her, the belt buckle with the B.P.R.D symbol and the handles of her knives shining in the light. After a lighting bolt cracked, Cassie quickly found and put in her MP3 player, trying with no avail to block out the sounds of the storm the was expanding and shrinking around her. As Cassie sat there with the case file in her lap, the plane started to jolt up and down a bit. Cassie grabbed the arm rests of her seat tightly until the turbulence stopped. Through the crashing and booming outside and the guitar riffs going ringing in Cassie's ears, she heard the sound of someone talking on the intercom throughout the plane. Cassie took out one her earpieces and listened in the best that she could.
"Um, hey you guys. This is the captain speaking." A monotone voice echoed over the cabin, "We are just experiencing some turbulence, but we are getting signs from London International that there are clears skies ahead, so hang on."
Cassie's heart was beating a million miles a minute as she started to play with the mandala around her neck. The song changed in her ear to instrumentals blaring in her ear, the brass section the loudest of them all. She loved the song and sat back in her chair, getting lost a little bit, only to have the case file that was resting on her lap fall out and her bounced out of her moment. Cassie bent down trying to get the file back together when she saw a shadow hover over her. Cassie took out one of her earphones as she sat back up, a curious look on her face.
"Are we getting briefed?" Cassie asked, unbuckling the seatbelt that was tightened tight around her waist.
