Basic Information
Full Name: Princess Nuala.
Age: The Princess is immortal – therefore, ageless.
Gender: Female.
Birthday: A day on the Elven calendar is different than that on the human calendar – but I would estimate sometime in April.
Codename: None as of yet.
Classification: Elf.
Abilities: A degree of telepathy, through touch, and her bond with her brother, I suppose, you could call an ability. They feel everything the other feels, and can also see each others thoughts. She also has knowledge of the Mythical world that could prove useful to the B.P.R.D.
Alignment/Occupation: B.P.R.D.
Special Skills: She has a bit of experience in magic, and she can do more than a few spells when she needs to. Also, she has taken a liking for the human dance of ballet, and is attempting to learn it.
Weapons: She has a dagger hidden in her robes at all times, but that’s about it. Nuala isn’t a big fan of fighting or violence.
The Look
Appearance: The Princess.
Being a twin, Nuala resembles her brother to an extreme. The same white hair, the same pale skin, the same markings – everything. There are subtle differences, though, nothing too extreme, but enough to tell the two apart. Nuala’s eyes, for instance, while they are golden in color like her brothers – are wider, and somewhat brighter. She is also about a foot shorter than he is, and her face is a bit rounder – full cheeks and light colored lips, as her brother’s are dark. She is slender, very petite, and while she is taller compared to most humans, she is on the short side for an Elf.
Celebrity: Anna Walton.
Style: Being a Princess, Nuala wears extravagant, detailed, and regal gowns and dresses. Her favorite color is blue, and you will most likely find her in something of the various shades of that color – but she is also partial to gold, white, red and black. Since coming to the B.P.R.D., she has seen a variety of clothing on the various employees – and has, on occasion, tried on ‘human’ clothes, but.. They were much too revealing for her liking. She is sticking with her gowns and the like for now, but perhaps sometime she will get used to the humans idea of fashion.
It's The Inside That Counts
Personality: Nuala is the perfect opposite of her brother. He is dark, she is light – it is as simple as that. She believes that there can be a peace between their people, and the humans, that can be reached without violence or war – while her brother believes the exact opposite. Nuala is sweet and caring, and will do anything for the ones she loves – her brother, on the other hand, will do anything for himself and his people, no matter what the consequences.
Nuala sees good and beauty in everything – whether it be a monster, a person, anything – she will always believe that there is some good in everyone, even her brother, no matter what he does. Ashe is easily befriended, and since coming to the B.P.R.D., has found love with the one called Abraham Sapien. They are almost exactly alike in personality, she enjoys reading with him in the library, they could be in there for hours reading poetry back and forth to one another.
Five words to describe Nuala: Pure, Graceful, Kind, Sweet, and Light.

History(at least two paragraphs):
Since they were born, Nuala and her twin brother Nuada have been closer than any other brother and sister, twins or otherwise. They have always held a special bond that allows both of them to feel whatever the other is feeling. When they were younger, they were inseparable, and stayed that way up until the war with the humans – that was the only thing that came between this brother and sister.
Nuala despised the war, and wished they could just have peace with the humans – but Nuada was the warrior, and he lead the troops into battle countless times, and always tried to make his sister understand that the only way to get the humans to stop killing their forests and their people was for them to be destroyed.
When the Master Goblin blacksmith came with the request to build the Golden Army, Prince Nuada convinced their father to approve of it, while Nuala tried to tell her father that a negotiation must be at least attempted. Unfortunately, her brother held more power over her father than she did – and the Golden Army was created.
The destruction of the humans came fast, as soon as the Golden Army was put into battle, and King Balor saw the wrong of his ways – and thus, struck up a truce with the humans. Nuada was not pleased, and went into self-imposed exile. Nuala felt like a part of her had gone when her brother left, and for the years that he was gone, tried to stay strong for her father’s sake.
When he returned from exile, Nuala could not be happier – until she realized what exactly he had returned for. He killed their father for the second piece of the crown to control the Golden Army, and before he could gain the third, Nuala fled.
It was in the Troll Market that Abe crosses paths with Nuala while she was looking for the map to where the Golden Army rests, quickly falls in love with her before they were attacked by Nuada's lackey, Mr. Wink. After a battle with a Forest God, Nuala is taken back to the B.P.R.D., where she and Abe have their first true conversation with each other – starting with a poem by the one known as Tennyson. Nuala quickly felt an affection for Abraham – but her happiness was short lived.
Her brother used their bond to find the B.P.R.D., and kidnapped her – while mortally wounding Hellboy – and bringing her to the place where the Golden Army rested. Thankfully, she had hidden the final piece to the crown in the book of the poem that she had read before in the hopes that Abraham would find it, and her brother would not have control over the Golden Army.
In the end, Hellboy, Abraham, Johann and Liz came to stop Nuada – Abraham traded the piece of the crown for Nuala’s life – but Nuada did not keep his promise, and thus, brought the Golden Army back into action, and ordered them to kill the B.P.R.D. gang. A battle ensued – but then, Hellboy challenged Nuada for the right to control the Golden Army.
The fight between them was an intense one, but Hellboy defeated Nuada – but did not kill him, for Abe, because he knew it would kill Nuala as well. When Nuada surrendered, Nuala went back to the B.P.R.D. with Abe, much to her brother’s dismay. She could feel the betrayal, anger, and sadness from her brother when she had done so, but she was not going to stay with him after what he did .
Now she lives at the B.P.R.D. with Abraham and the lot, trying to learn how to live without her brother, and with the humans. It has been a hard transition for her, but with Abraham’s help, it is slowly becoming easier.

[ooc; This is from another Hellboy roleplay I am doing, taking place before Prince Nuada’s exile, during the war with the humans and such, ^_^]
The war between the humans, and the creatures of myths and legend had been waging on for years. The leader of said creatures, the Elf King Balor, knew there was only one way to stop this – he needed an army that was undefeatable. Of course, it did take a bit of persuading from his son to make the decision final – but finally, the army was being built. A Golden Army, of indestructible clockwork soldiers. The only one who could control them was the wearer of the crown – constructed of three golden pieces. The King, of course, was the bearer of this crown… For now.
While the Golden Army was being built, the war still waged on, battles happened every day of every week… And it left both sides in despair. The Army would be built soon, yes, and then the humans would get what they deserved – but until that point, this war was seemingly never-ending.
And it seemed as though it would only get worse with the Golden Army – to Princess Nuala, anyways.
The twin sister of Prince Nuada, and the daughter of the Elf King, Nuala hated this war more than anything, and was disappointed that her father had turned to even more powerful violence to stop it. No matter how much she tried to convince him that this was not the way, her brother seemed to hold more power over her father than she did.
Her brother was, after all, the warrior. He always seemed to be off fighting now, leaving Nuala back in Bethmoora, in the forests, trapped in their fortress-like castle. She felt his pain, whenever he was hurt by an enemy, and she felt his emotions – anger towards the humans, the hatred he felt towards them… But that did not mean she understood them, or that they were her own. She did dislike the humans, and wished they would just leave her and her kingdom alone, but she did not believe violence was the way to gain that.
She now stood out on one of the many stone balconies of their castle that overlooked the forest – and in the distance, she could see a battle that seemed to grow ever closer. She knew her brother was out there- through her mind’s eye, she could see everything that was happening to him and around him. She had already gained a deep gash across her upper arm due to a wound he had recently gained in battle, but it had been patched up quickly by a few goblins.
Another advantage of her staying behind while her brother was in battle was that if he got hurt – all they had to do was heal Nuala’s wounds, and his would be healed as well. The bond between them was strong, and though sometimes Nuala did not like feeling what he felt, physically and emotionally, she loved her brother, and would do her best to stand by him.
Her golden eyes stared out onto the distant battle until she couldn’t take it anymore, and she headed back inside to her chambers, to await the return of her brother. He could return tonight, or he could return in a week… It all depended on the battle. From what she had seen, it didn’t seem to be ending… But it could take a turn for the better or for the worse at any moment. She would just have to wait and see.
