Appearance: Johann resides inside of his containment suiot which resembles an old aquatic suit the navyy uysed during world war II, his fingers 'dislocated' as they lift up allowing him to release some of his being, a makshift mouth is also attached to the front of the helmet.
Attire: whether working or on his free time Johann wears the same containemnt suit which is white and brown and has a helmet that isshaped like an old diving helmet to which a mechanical mouth is attached to serve as his mouth..

Detailed Power: Because he is made of ectoplasm and has no physical body, he requires neither sleep nor food. However, the extreme sensitivity of his psychic powers makes him vulnerable to psychic attack. His physical ectoplasm can be overtaken by stronger spirits, who are then made corporeal (This can be either dangerous or helpful, depending on the spirit's nature).
The only protection Johann Krauss has from dissipation is his B.P.R.D. built containment suit; once the suit is breached, he must find a new container for his essence as soon as possible or he will cease to exist. Whether or not the suit is affected by temperature is unclear.
Johann can also use a form of Teleplasty, where he can take possession of Inanimate objects or lliving or dead beings, for an undisclosed amount of time, hearing there thoughts for him to see what they see and hear what they hear.
Johann is also a Psychic able to talk to the dead even when he was alive, now just a Ectoplasmic being Johanns powers have seemed to be even further developed.

Personality: Johann is somewhat of a nosey 'man', and a natural born leader, he follows rules by the books and does what he is told without question a man that knows the chain of command within the BPRD. He is also a very outspoken person and tells the other agents how he feels no matter what they think tending to always get on the nerves of Hellboy.
Johann is always studying the occult, with no need of rest Johann makes it his life to study the paranormal, even though most of the time he is a by the books kind of guy Johann sometimes shows compassion for his teammates, and goes against protocol to serve his teammates if they truly believe they must do it.
Weaknesses: Johann's weakness is that of Psychic manipultion as he can be controlled by demons and the like, he can also be attacked by those that have psychic powers.
Johann's other weakness is that he needs a body or a containment suit to hold his ectoplasmic form, when his suit is ripped or destroyed he has been known of possessing roadkill until he is able to get a new contain ment suit.
The Story
History: Not much is known of Johann's life before the BPRD, all that is known is that he lost his wife some time ago, when he joined the BPRD professor broom himself built the containment suit which Johanns spirit calls his home. He was also a member of another branch of the BPRD, but due to Hellboys public exposure, the BPRD decided to bring in Johann to lead the team and watch over Hellboy, the first thing he does is possess a dead tooth fairy from the Hellboys battle at the auction house, learning about the Troll Market, to which he tries to lead his team, Hellboy had other ideas and insued with a power struggle with Johann.
Much later after that confrontation, Johann meets Hellboy in the BPRD showers and tells him that his weakness is his temper, leaving Johann with a busted containment suit. After getting his containment suit. Nuada then breaks into the BPRDs headquarters to retrieve his sister,
lodging a Spearhead into Hellboys heart, Liz and Abe then try to leave the headquarters to find someway to get the spearhead away from his heart, at first Johann refuses to let them go but then remembering his dead wife he agrees and goes with them. After getting thje spearhead removed Nuana takes control of the Golden Army, Johann takes control of one of the mechanical beasts and pummels most of them seemingly defeating them, eventually they ressurected, Johann then had to leave the mechanical best and go back to his containment suit, seeing Nuada Hellboy challenged him for the crown eventually besting his opponent but sparing his life. Shortly afterward Johann is seen resigning from teh team and leaving with his teammates.
