"This Town meeting is now under way. First off I would like thank Brother Mikel for being our guest at today's meeting. He is filling in for reverend Mark who has recently fall in. Brother Mikel would you like to preform the opening sermon?" Asked the Mayor who stood at the center of the gathered people.
"Yes I would mayor, and thank you again for allowing me to be here today." Responded Mikel as he got up and walked to the center of the 15 or so gathered chairs. "Hugh...... Sin. What is it? Where does it come from? Why do we feel so compelled to commit it?" Questioned Mikel as he looked around at the people in the stuffy room. Many of the people looked to each other or back at Mikel puzzled. "Why, because that is what we are at our core. Sinners....."
"Mikel may I ask where you are going with this?"
"Fear not mayor, I know where I'm going with this. At hem... where was I....... Ah yeas, sin. Sin is who we are. If we let our guard down the sin will consume us....."
[good, now tell them what they need to do.....] The disembodied voice hissed in Mikel's ear. He cringed but continued to speak.
"It-it will eat as us, piece by piece until we are nothing but blood drenched skeletons. Left to rot on the side of the road until the time of Armageddon...."
"Brother Mikel...."
"Mayor Templeton.....Please.........SIT AND DO NOT INTERRUPT......So That I ....May finish my sermon." Ordered Mikel as he stared down the Mayor. As his voice fluctuated the others in the room did not seem to notice and the mayor quickly shut his mouth and sat back down.
"We must not let sin do this to you...."
"Amen" the voices rang out throughout the room. All except the mayor's.
"we must accept it as part of who we are. It is a part of us, by denying it and repressing it, it begins to destroy us.... " The faces of the members of the town council begin to become horrified. "Give....In To Your Sin....... Let It Run Free....... DO WHAT YOUR DARKEST DESIRES TELL YOU. SPREAD THE EVIL. LIVE IN YOUR SIN. BECOME WHAT YOU ARE. ANIMALS. GO OUT AND LIVE......The Life That Have......Always Wanted.......In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen." The power coursed out of his voice and spread through out the room. This was the most number of people he has done it too at one time before. He collapsed into his chair tired as the members of the town council droned "Amen " in a monotonous voice before filing out of the town hall. Mikel Wished he could watch the fruits of his labor but he was far to tired. He decided he would go watch the fall of his town once he woke up. It will still be there when he would awake.

Time: 3:27 pm Date: February 2nd Location: Main Street Cafe; Page City, Kansas Status: Open
Mikel sat on a faded green rod iron chair outside of the Main Street Cafe, tea cup in hand. He sat there swirling the cup in his had as he watched the fallout of his work. The past few days he had continued to spread the word, well his at least. He had seen everything from young teens making love in the streets, to random acts of violence and looting. One of the first thing he saw was the mayor take his own life. Truly horrid things had happened over the last week or so, but only recently has word got out to the outside world. Mikel looked over at the New York Times sitting across the table. "Violence in Kansas Reaches New Highs. Sate Police Preparing To Go In and Sort Out The Chaos."
"well that will not due...." Mikel Hissed to himself. ".......New York....That sounds promising.....Big City, Lots of weak willed people......This should be as easy as breathing."
With his new destination in mind Mikel lifted himself from the chair. He lifted his feet off the body of the mayor that he had been using as a foot rest. He dusted himself off, drank the last of his tea and started down the road.
About a quarter mile before the city limits Mikel came upon a man laying in the street with a car key in hand. Mikel looked down at the man. "Thank you brother. It would seem the lord does provide." Mikel said as he wrenched the key out of the mans cold grasp. He then got into the car and set his sight towards New York making sure to stay within the speed limit at all times.

".....You see sister the main root with a crisis of faith is that you know deep in your heart that god cannot exist. We have all come to this point. Take what little money you have saved up and spend the weekend away from the cloth...one guilt and vow free weekend. When Monday comes again, should you feel that God is there then return to the cloth. If you feel that your life has been unfulfilled before that weekend then take this as a sign to walk a new path." Said brother Mikel compassionately to the young nun sitting on the park bench next to him.
"I'm not sure fath..Brother...It seems blasphemous."
"Worry not sister, I went through the same phase and it only....Strengthened....... My Faith......TRUST ME. " Mikel's seeds took root in the back of the nun's mind.
"oh...okay. I'll do it. maybe this is what I needed after all. Monday I will return to the chapel with renewed faith." With that the nun rose from the bench and walked off to start a whole new life.
"No you won't" said Mikel after the nun was out of earshot. Mikel then leaned back in the bench and opened his blessed bible and began to read. Hopefully something interesting would happen soon.....

Asher had taken a pleasure walk through the park. He enjoyed Central park, but not on cold days. He was looking forward to the spring, when everything was new and budding. He was bundled up today, it was chilly and looked like it was threatening to snow. Again. he disliked cold and snow, unless he was a tree, then he could just doze off, his sap slowing to a crawl until the warm spring thawed him out. As a people, a man, he could leave winter to the humans. Bah.
He passed one of the human clerics talking to a woman. What were those women that dressed like a penguin? Muns? Buns? It didn't matter. Human women were...ugly. In clothes or out. They were like pink bumpy monkeys. But the cleric interested him. He stopped a few yards away from them, listening. What was the cleric doing? There was a certain tone to the mans voice, a power was behind it. he has heard of the silver tongued among the speaking species, able to charm the flower from the bud.
Asher watched the bun woman leave and the cleric start reading a thick book. Asher went to him and sat down beside him, "Are you reading Harry Potter?" He asked in his slow speech, "I have started the book 5. The... Order of the Phoenix? It's very good. I enjoy the... Professor Snape. He is a wily charatcer."
He knew this conversation wouldn't mean much. He wanted to know this silver tongued man. He could be useful...

Mikel raised his head from it's position above the book. He turned to look at the strange man who sat next to him. "No, this is not Harry Potter, though I have read them." Mikel then draped the page holder down over the page in Revelations, one of the books he finds most interesting and closed the bible. "this my friend is the bible....a book that I hold very dear. Would you like a copy?" Mikel asked as he reached into the black duffel bag next to bench and withdrew a small worn King James bible. "Here, If you are interested." Mikel said as he handed the man next to him the old book. "I never caught you name, mine is Mikel." He said holding out his other hand. A cold wind rustled passed as the clouds moved in front of the sun casting the park into a dim half-light. The other people in the park started to slowly walk away from this particular area. Something did not feel right.

Asher looked at the book. When he was homeless, ladies had tried to give him books like these. The stories were not interesting, though he admired the man who had hung on the tree. He died for what he believed in. Asher could fight in battle beside such a man. He took the book, though, not to be rude. He would probably throw it onto the compost when he returned home.
The sun faded away behind a cloud and Asher was sorry to see it go. He liked to get as much natural sun as possible, even during winter, it made him feel better.
"My name is... Asher. You may use that name. It is a good name. The people I know on the streets call me by that name." The man offered his hand. Asher disliked to touch human, but he did it out of politeness.
He gripped Mikel's hand and then shook it, "Oh." Asher said. Mikel did not have the same pink feel as a human. He was Other. The Other Not Humans felt darker to Asher. Human were squishy and pink, Other Not Humans included other trees, elves, dwarves, gnomes, fairies, ect. Sometimes Asher could see through the glamor, depending on the power of the glamor user. He could feel a Other Not Human, though. It was the truth of the trees. Asher couldn't tell what kind of Other. This man was not elf, he didn't have that white skin or sunny colored hair. Maybe one of the night breeds. He was too tall to be a gnome and he didn't have a pointy hat.
"You are like I am. Of the Other. Are you here to join Nuada as well?"

Mikel seemed taken aback at first by the stranger's words. "Other....you mean ....Demon? And who is the Nuada, he is no demon I have ever heard of?" Mikel Stands from his seat, Cassock slid down his form and became straight and uncreased duffel bag in hand. As he looked over his shoulder a cool breeze blew past. "I think we should take a walk, it is getting a little too crowded around here." Mikel said as he looked around the deserted park. He then slowly started walking down along the dirt path of one of the many jogging trails circling the park. He walked with a subtle drop in his right step. The cool after noon breeze whipped the leaves and dust around behind the preacher as he went down the path.

"Demons..." Asher mused. He smiled and then laughed, a hearty deep laugh that was filled with sunlight and damp earth.
"There are demons... but I do not think I have ever seen one." He pondered. There were plenty of evil people, that was true, but demons...
"You do not know Nuada. Hm... this makes things... complicated." He licked his lips, thinking over his answer. It was a few minutes before he spoke, remembered to speak. he had to remember to speak sometimes. Trees took their time.
"Nuada is the King of Kings. Much like your Jesus, but he is alive today, he was alive before your Jesus, and he is massing an army to rid the world of a virus that has plagued it for centuries." He let his eyes wander to the humans around them that walked by, biked by, played in the grass in their winter finery. Then looked to Mikel, "I think a trip to the Troll Market will allow you to see you are not alone in your... Otherness..."

Turning back Mikel looked at the odd man taking everything he said in. "To the troll market it is." Mikel looked at Asher, thinking what could this man be planning. Maybe I can find my father or at least a lead with this Nuada's help. Hell maybe even Nuada will know what my purpose is. Mikel stands there on the trail contemplating, wind whipped past him kicking up dust and leaves as he waits for Asher to lead the way to the troll market.
